How do I track my listening time?
PodCE automatically tracks your listening time when you play podcast episodes. Just hit play, and the app records your listening sessions. You can view your total hours in the Profile tab under Statistics.
How do I export my CE credits for certification?
Go to Profile > Export, select your date range, and choose either CSV (for spreadsheet software) or PDF (for professional reports). Both formats include all your listening sessions with timestamps and durations.
Can I add manual CE activities (conferences, courses)?
Yes! Go to the Activities tab and tap the + button. You can add conferences, webinars, courses, and more. You can even attach photos of certificates or badges.
How do I set CE goals and deadlines?
Visit the Goals tab and tap the + button. Choose from 12+ pre-built templates (nursing, IT security, etc.) or create a custom goal. Set your deadline and target hours, and PodCE will track your progress automatically.
Where is my data stored?
All your data is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad. PodCE does not sync to the cloud or send data to servers. For more details, see our

Does PodCE work offline?
Yes! Downloaded episodes play offline. However, you need internet to search for new podcasts, subscribe to shows, and download episodes.
Can I use PodCE with CarPlay?
Yes! PodCE supports CarPlay for safe listening while driving. Your listening time is tracked even when using CarPlay.
How do I delete my data?
Since all data is stored locally, you can delete individual items (swipe to delete) or remove all data by deleting the PodCE app from your device.
Common Issues & Solutions
Playback Issues
- Episode won't play: Check your internet connection or try downloading the episode for offline playback
- Playback stops when screen locks: Make sure Background App Refresh is enabled in Settings > General > Background App Refresh
- Can't hear audio: Check volume, ringer switch, and ensure episode isn't corrupted
Tracking Issues
- Listening time not recording: Make sure you play episodes for at least 30 seconds (auto-save occurs every 30s)
- Statistics not updating: Try force-closing and reopening the app
- Export is empty: Check your date range selection and ensure you have listening sessions in that period
General Issues
- App crashes: Update to the latest version, restart your device, or reinstall the app
- Missing podcasts: Use the search feature in the Discover tab to find and subscribe
- Artwork not loading: Check internet connection; artwork loads asynchronously
